Jeff Conaway was an American actor. Born on October 5, 1950, in New York City, he began as a child performer.
He played Kenickie in the film Grease (1978) and Bobby Wheeler on the sitcom Taxi. He later starred in Babylon 5 as Zack Allan and appeared on the VH1 show Celebrity Rehab about his addiction to painkillers.
He had back problems and drug troubles for years. Conaway died in Encino, California, on May 27, 2011, at age 60, after a coma caused by pneumonia and sepsis.
